Security for Plug-In Electric Vehicle Communications
J2931/7_201802
This SAE Information Report J2931/7 establishes the security requirements for digital communication between Plug-In Electric Vehicles (PEV), the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) and the utility, ESI, Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and/or Home Area Network (HAN).
Rationale:
The Figures and Tables were not titled in the initial release and after reviewing the Table of Contents, that listed them (without titles), it was appropriate to reopen this TIR, so the titles could be added to clearly identify these in the introductory pages. Considerable effort was taken to produce this document and it didn’t seem to be complete without Figure and Table titles.
